Weekend

It was a terrible Friday, a transitional Saturday but today is Supernatural Sunday.

Everybody has things, situations, circumstances that cause them to spiral down into desperation and smoldering despair.  It’s designed to knock and take you out of the pursuit of living life fully, completely; intended to cause you to merely exist But if you are a believer It’s called character building, growth opportunities; trouble deemed blessing.  Faith though it seems distant or nonexistent during this time reassure’s us that there is a getting up, coming out time.  The purpose of this correspondence is to encourage you, to plead with you not to give in or give out during the weekend seasons of life.  God loves you, His plan for you isn’t thwarted, there’s a built-in clause that binds Him to you, and through the bloods sacrifice we are whole and complete, so trust in the complete finish work of Jesus being manifested in your life.   Look for that, live for that!

It won’t always be this bad; you had to fall to know the experience and appreciate the significance of getting up; it’s the ingredient common to all great testimonies, the common thread weaved through out humanity. Survive the blow, take the hit, and then go through your process, make it to Sunday knowing that God in His infinite wisdom will get you to the place you need to be.  Trusts that all your times are in His hands; He’s not shocked or twiddling his fingers concerning your expected end; if you’ve given Him your life it’s going to work together for your good, it was allowed therefore apart of the plan.

O.K. you’ve made some decisions that aren’t correct, been drawn away by the lust of your flesh, you’re not as strong as you thought you were, you’ve been attempting life in your own strength. Stop failure isn’t your final destination, it’s temporary and though the consequences of that choice may buffet you, causing you much discomfort and pain; Learn from this lesson Acknowledge and turn away from wrong, Lose all options anti God, that feeds and sustains you granting self it’s desires, and allow your heart to be united before Him.  Then and only then can you begin to move toward a new day.

Get up from this dark stagnate place meant for you demise, refuse to sit there and die.

Arise into the fullness of all God has in store; reach for the greatness God invested in you.

Purpose hasn’t expired Destiny still prevails don’t give up on God; he hasn’t gave up on you. He loves you right now as much as he always will; he will never leave or turn you away. His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses; we were made to live dependent on Him, that’s why living opposite is such a struggle, so intense, hard you’re working against the grain, that’s the sin, the transgression of our heart; why our actions, choices betray our confession.  People get stuck on the particulars of the actions God sees and feels the state of our hearts toward Him, that’s what he’s looking for, waiting and longing for. He’s committed to having a living love, love relationship with you.

I know it’s hard, humiliating even that your flawed humanity has been exposed, you’re feeling very vulnerable, scrabbling to hide behind a defense, and though it may be very tempting to justify or cover up in pride.  Deal with the real issue “Lord I don’t know how to completely trust you and I suck at all attempts of loving completely”; allow God to do it in and through you on your behalf; ask Him to teach you how to trust Him though you can’t trace Him in the broken(ness) of today, elongated over time, in times of opposition, loss and lack, you know the situations presented that we call reality, when we fail to see who He is, be determined to make it, be here to Thursday remember this is just the weekend.  Embrace this reality, and then you’re guaranteed to grow from this transitional season of darkness, that feels like forever.  Believe it or not this is necessary for the growing of your faith; it will produce a much greater harvest if you allow patience its perfect work; for after you’ve suffered awhile He will establish you in the stability of His will.

Tell the truth you know we tend to be very judgmental of others, holding them to standards we are selves fail to keep, very abrasive in our life’s approach. We think we can force the hand of God, manipulate his way to appease our temporal desire and then we make these messes that we try to cover up and pass off as attacks of the enemy.  Yes that is true the enemy in me, flesh warring against spirit.  Oh wretched man that I am, its time to own up to my stuff, lose my racket, stop blaming everyone and thing and come to Him totally surrendering everything, my strengths and weaknesses; accept your need of Him stop boasting and living from what you do or how good you think you are.  We’re nothing without Him; it’s not a cliché but the truth of our existence.

You’re destined to be better; this weekend situation is the weapon formed that will not prosper, the thing God will work together for your good.  Somehow some way God’s going to show up and show out ensuring His will be done. Fall back into the capable hands of mercy and allow grace to assist you’re getting up. Forget about self-imposed expectations, the standards you set for yourself, and the opinions of men that really concur what we think about ourselves.  Lose the fear, its o.k. to be naked and unashamed God created you He knows you in and out, we all have our issues and struggles. God uses them to bring us to Himself.

Stop feeling bad about who you are, appreciate the gift of you,  God made no mistake, you are His prized possession, the apple of his eye, why he sent His son as the sacrificial lamb, choose today that’s enough, need nothing else and watch Him begin to unveil His heart toward you. We’ve all been through weekend exchanges the fact that we are proves things do and will get better; sometimes we can perceive its culmination most times it happens and then we realize Wow there is a God working and moving in and through me supernaturally. We then begin to fathom His love for us. We feel the impact of His sacrifice Made before we even knew we would need Him before we ever had the chance to accept or reject him; he faced the weekend that illuminates all our weekend experiences.  Just because he wanted to, it never was or will be dependent upon how good you’ve been, what you say or do; it’s merit is validated by acknowledging and reverencing Him as God… Lord of your life the place He worked so hard to secure. It is through this we see and experience true love that doesn’t hold us hostage to life’s weekends.
