It is my expectation that the realities of the Word will manifest in my life and the lives of others that share the same faith. I am faith FILLED, promise and hope FULL; living and loving from the platform/foundation of truth. The expectation of every believer is rooted in what God said would be…we believe God despite opposition, obstacles, and obstructions to our faith. Authentic expectation is not thwarted by delays, distractions, or discouragement because it knows in whom it relies.  All the things I believe or expect of life and love are secured by the promise of God specifically. I have no previous experience or point of reference to draw upon…no tangible proof that it will be other than the fact God said so…so it is…that’s the only verification needed that’s the only thing I expect.  It is not for a person, a thing, or any other self induced contriving…God promised me I would see and experience His heart toward me.  Every day there is a day that is what he gives, shares, and reveals through the use of people, things, and those things I come to desire.  Before I ever knew it could be, would be, that there were things that would make it appear as if it wasn’t or can’t be… God said it would be…so the things that appeared later simply meant this was an opportunity to trust God at another level.  I have not lost my expectation because of what I see or don’t see, due to what I feel or don’t feel.  I am committed to my relationship with Jesus and He does not lie…to give up or forfeit at this point would nullify and void what we share as if it’s never been.  That is never an option…I will always hope in God…He will always be my expectation: it is my expectation that what He spoke to me will be…it’s His heart toward me and it will never change so I will never change my mind or heart posture about my God!

As believers, we have the greater advantage in life and love…we have a lasting, LIVING, and loving relationship with Jesus Christ. This infallibly means that in all things, in every situation HE is with us, for us, and working in and through us. Him with, in, and for us changes the equation of life and love…it alters all possible outcomes…with Him we are a victor, an over comer, more than a conqueror, the head, above, and the exception/example of what life and love in Him looks like in this fallen world. This is the ruling authority in the life of every believer…We have eternal Hope… that is the line of demarcation between the believer and unbeliever…it is the definable difference.  Show me an individual without Hope and I’ll show you that individual does not know God in HIS fullness and does not believe that the complete finished work of Jesus Christ will manifest as a reality in their life or love.

It is an absolute impossibility to embody Hope and not talk, think, respond, and live and love from that very same platform.  Hope is the filter of our Expectation of life and love.  As Christians, co-laborers with Christ we experience kingdom realities.  We pray, plan, and prepare to that accord: THY Kingdom Come…God as YOU desire, design and designate your will to be done in my life be it on to me. If it is or is not we trust God has purpose for it and that in the end it will reflect our expected ends…whatever is happening, transpiring, or manifesting is a part of a larger grander plan, positioning, and preparation. It should be the expectation of every believer to experience the heart of God that He in his sovereignty is perfecting all things concerning us and causing all things to work together for our good because we agree with His purpose for our being.  Is your expectation built upon the purpose of God for your life? Hope thou in God!

My expectation is not built upon my moral standing (what I choose to do or refrain from doing) so there is no feeling of entitlement. God’s grace and mercy secures my reliance upon those things hoped for.  I could never merit God’s heart…it is always HIS gift to give.  I don’t live or love to earn it…thank God because I’d never receive or experience it.  So there is no pressure to present a flawless, faultless misrepresentation of who I am. God loves me…I’m sure, confidant, and totally dependent upon His heart for my everything so I am free to bring the real me to the life and love equation and in return I am introduced to a better me with Him. His love of me works through me so remarkably because it is the mirror imagining and reflecting light. I don’t have to hide who I am or be preoccupied with who I want you to think I am because I don’t need to impress you…God is already impressed, enthralled, and enduringly tied to me forever. I show up already affirmed, valued, and proven… I am liked and loved completely and entirely…equipped for every good work.  His strength is made perfect through my weakness and He and I work in conjunction with each others will…so what you’re privy to view is His Gracious Glory.  He and I are tight, solid, and the real deal.  I am not lacking, needing or wanting anything outside of what we already have so there is no need to be selfish, narcissistic, or bias when sharing the life and love I’m partaker of… with you. He is the highlight, the illumination, of what and who I want to promote, publicize, and promulgate to the world. When choosing to live and love in His likeness it is my expectation that HE will grant me the opportunity to be His advertisement…because I bear his name I aim to represent Him well.  If you get anything from my representation (you will)…I expect that you’ll get HIM because that is the foundation of my expectation.

His love of me has set and is the standard of what life and love is. God is relational, responsive, and responsible for our care…everything weighs on who He is and what He does…not the effort, energy, or enthusiasm of man (ourselves and others included).  He has already gifted us with all we need to be whole and complete…life and love on this side of heaven is about SHARING what we have… not obtaining what we’re missing (as we deem needful/necessary). So in every situation and circumstance let’s EXPECT God to be God of the situation, sickness, or struggle.  Expect Him to show up and show out as He so desires to reveal and express Himself. Expect to see and experience God in everything…He is God in all situations! He will be God in all situations…let that be your expectation of life and love.  When life and love is not reflecting what the Word declares decide you’re Expectation will not change. It does not matter how you feel, what it looks like, or what you think… God is still God.  He is in control. His way is right and He knows best what and when we need to see and experience another facet of His heart toward us. Expect that He uses the happenings of life and love to teach us what we don’t know of Him, ourselves, and others. Expectation is not about what you want, hope, or desire unless what you want, desire, and hope is in alignment, agreement, and actual to the heart of God toward you. It is my prayer that we as believers allow God to work the will in us to do what is God’s good pleasure so we can properly image the advantage of living from the platform of Expectation.
