It seems everyone wants a guarantee against future failure that will safeguard life and love from potential losses. We subscribe to and endorse self preservation insurance policies that clearly define liability contingencies.  We’ve made life and love comparable to the banking industry…investment firms…about our potential gain; highlighting greed an insurance that we get our piece of the pie.  We have our checklist, tally sheets, statistics, and calculations.  How we see it, plan and propose life and love to be…predictable, promising, and perfect…yielding great returns.   Basically, we make life and love about the best deal, case scenario, and our investment portfolio of what I hope is in it for me.  We willingly pass up, or by pass workable credits in fear of the debit factor…opening and shutting accounts because it appears we can get the same service elsewhere.  After all there are banking institutions on every corner…willing and dealing goods and services for free. We don’t want to do the work of life and love.  Long gone are the days of personal investment…we hire people to do the work of acquisition. Our money does the work for us…it rules our placement, position, and even posture in the fair gain market of life and love.  It’s any man or woman’s potential gain or loss. Hard work, due diligence, loyalty, INTEGRITY, CHARACTER, LONGEVITY, ETHICS, MORALS are laughable, disqualified and discounted factors in modern day banking and business mergers.  It just has to look picture perfect now days…look marketable…so others will buy into the illusion of the American dream and sell the lie of prosperity.

Are we really wealthier? Or are we satisfied with what others think we have?  Maybe appearing happy, secure, and well off is enough to keep us in the game.  Maybe our way of doing business as usual is reward enough.
