If God be for us…who are they that are against us? We’re winning even when it looks, feels, and sometimes IS that we’re losing. We lose a plenty things as we live and love in God’s likeness. All of which we felt at the time we needed, valued, and or had to have at the time. We lose mindsets, mannerisms, and movements that are anti-God’s way, work, and Word in process…in time. We don’t always get it immediately…we experience delays…life and love develops whole…in and with time. That’s the thing about life and love that makes the difference, is the determinate, and the derivative of lessons learned (everything in time). Ecclesiastes exclaims “there’s a time and a season for everything under the sun…” exegetical understanding of the text would place the emphasis on trusting the timing of God during every season of life and love. We understand that God sets the boundaries, borders, and barriers of every storm, struggle, and situation…so we are never without hope or help. In reading the text we are privy to both sides of the equation of life and love. We are given the balance of life and love…we learn how to navigate and negotiate the passing of time. We find that time does not discriminate, discount, or dissolve the plan, purpose, and promise of God’s word. In everything there will be the manifestations of positives and negatives…good and bad…ups and downs…give and take.
Time takes from us but it also adds to us. Life and love in God’s likeness submits surrenders and submits to the power and authority of an all knowing God. He decides, determines, and designates the use of time as we live and love. He determines our going in and our coming out of seasons. We live and love according to His time table… to educate, execute, and employ His plan, purpose, and promise for our lives and loves. It is absolutely remarkable that God decides, determines, and designates all of life and love events…not the season…or how we feel at/in time. The season merely serves a greater purpose…it is fluid…transit…mobile… in process…adaptable and interchangeable at any given time. Our feelings fluctuate; can be fickle, fake, and fraudulent at any given time so they are not the focus of the text either. So what or who is? What was the author trying to get us to see about time or the changing of seasons? Could it be that season’s change in and with time as God decides, determines, and designates for our life and love? If so, that is great news…our reality as believers is that all our seasons of life and love are subject to the WORD God speaks before time and manifest in time. Life and love happens in process…there are layers to developments and even deaths…stages of perception, purpose, and promise. Life and love as we experience it and express it is always cycling. We understand, undergo, and utilize time in process advantageously or disadvantageously depending upon on our perception. Is time taking away or adding to what you are coming to know of God. How are your faith levels registering as you navigate and negotiate life and love? Are you making decisions of life and love based upon the symptoms of this current season or are you trusting anticipating and expecting time to collide with the plan, purpose and promise of God?
If God is God…the originator, illustrator, and initiator of all that is living and loving then time answers, responds, moves, and acts in accordance to His will, way, and Word. All things are working together, in conjunction, in accordance to what He has planned, purposed, and promise to be. Don’t allow the passing of time, the pushing of time, or the pause in time to make you feel outside of faith in God’s Word. When things manifest opposite the Word God spoke…I have trained my heart to acknowledge, accept, and acclimate to plan, purpose, and promise of God. I bring my mind into subjection to the Word…which allows me to stay God loyal when my humanity wants to feel or not a feel a thing. It is always my desire to live and love in God’s likeness so I’ve allowed the Holy Spirit His perfect work within me. He helps me navigate and negotiate time/seasons appropriately. What God said remains my focus…I fix my eyes on his plan, purpose, and promise like a dancer spinning, twirling, and turning in time as he or she keeps the beat and counts the measure of life and love. Like the athlete competing for the prize…I disregard the movements, motions, and mannerisms of my opponents and keep my eyes on the goal. I’ve learned to embrace time…to equate time…and enjoy the lessons learned in the process of time as God desires, determines, and designates for both my living and loving.
How we see the seasons of life and to whom we attribute the changing of seasons and the challenges of in the process of time… and most importantly how we handle all we feel in process, as seasons change in the process of time can help or hinder our progression in life and love. How we answer for and to time or seasons of life and love can be detrimental to our growth and development when we do not understand life and love in process…and we make decisions of life and love based upon seasons juxtapose to the plan, purpose, and promise of God for our being. Living and loving based upon our faith in and of God is the winning factor…we Win despite the manifestations of seasons, situations, storms, sicknesses, stagnates, and STILLs of life and love because God is faithful that plans, purposes, and promises HIS Word to be. His Word always comes to pass…what He says Is…God uses the span of time to bring what already is about…wholeness, wellness, and workable life and love scenarios…we just have to negotiate and navigate time in faith. Season’s change at the set time…live and love to experience and express the God plan, purpose, and promise while you learn how to successfully navigate and negotiate the tick tock of humanity. God is using this time and season to take away all that will prevent, prohibit, and prove problematic to His plan, purpose and promise while adding to the significance, specialness, and security of His heart toward us. To everything there is a time and season~AntTBri
