How frustrating it is when you’re watching something on television and someone walks in front of the t.v. stops and stands there oblivious to the fact that they are in the way. If you are like me, during Grey’s Anatomy or Scandal they come to learn that they are in the way fairly quickly. “Get out of my way, ugh hello you’re in the way”. Ever been carrying, moving or doing something that required the exertion of energy only to discover there is something </strong>in the way? “Really, you have got to be kidding me…ugh I need this or it to move”. Life and love has obstacles, obstructions, oblivious manifestations that challenge us . We are often put in the position of answering (God, ourselves, and others) whether or not we are in the way.
Posture, perspective and prosperity seems to be determinant of life and love in the way. The place in which we walk, stand and sit determines life and love in the way. The company we keep, the counsel we adhere to and what we consent to categorizes choice. Life and love resides in two heart postures. In the way of righteousness or in the way of wickedness. Our heart posture towards God, ourselves and others validates and verifies if we are living and loving in the way. If Psalms 1 advises against standing in the way of sinners it is advising that we live and love in the way of God’s Word. Want to be blessed…want to be happy…experience and express joy learn to live and love in the way.
So what is impeding our ability to see the big picture of life and love? God’s way is the best way! What or who do we need to dismiss…get out of the way…so we can live and love in the way? Easiest route to prosperity and abundance! What or who is preventing us from carrying out our destiny? Life and love is God’s plan, purpose and promise! Will we do what it takes to move what is in the way so we can live and love in the way (mindsets, mannerisms, and movement anti-God, anti-grace and anti-growth)? There are three ways to consider your way (seems right), their way (sounds right) and God’s way(sure, safe, stands, is sound and RIGHT). There is a way that seems right to a man/woman but the end thereof is death. Death of possibility, purpose, promise and power to live and love abundantly. What or who will be the greater influence in/for your life and love? What counsel will you adhere to? What lifestyle has your consent? Blessed, happy, successful is the man/woman whose heart posture is to continually, consistently and correctly live and love in the way of God’s Word.
Godly counsel, the way of salvation and the seat of graciousness ensures life and love in the way. Won’t you commit your way unto the Lord? It boils down to a heart choice. It is life and loves choice and consequence. How will you spend your days and nights? What prey tale is your delight? What do you think, ponder, and meditate on…what is your standard of life and love?
In the mirror of likeness is the reflection of life and love’s nourishment. The water source of motivation, momentum, and movement produces advantageous growth. Security, stability and safety is found in the way. Seasons come and go, life and love cycles but your fruit will remain…it will not wither. That is the power, promise and provision of life and love in the way.
Are you in the way? Is your current choice of life and love an obstacle or opportunity? Are you experiencing and expressing the blessing or burden of living and loving in the way? Which side of the coin is your preference? Life or death? Love or hate? Heaven or hell? Light or darkness? Right or wrong? Good or bad? Fulfillment or failure? Choose you this day which way you will live and love. Who will you be? To whom will you belong? Psalms 1:6 “For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked will perish” God’s goodness…God’s grace…God’s love is the choice and consequence of life in the way~AntTBri
