Can You

Love Me in God’s stead?  Can God trust you to sow into and steward His purpose for me? Will you pray to that accord, care for and nurture me to that accord?  Can you be used by God to help grow and groom the gift in me?  Even if you wouldn’t get the credit or be rewarded or acknowledged for your expertise, effectiveness, enthusiasm, energy and effort?  Can you love and care for. me as if I’m your own? Can you sacrificially give of yourself, expend your time, talent and treasure on my well being to ensure I know the heart of God toward me?  Can you love me minus bias, potental gain and reward…if I never become yours and only will be with you for an undisclosed amount of time?  If God needed you too, required you too would you love me in His stead?

As believers we are admonished to esteem the needs of others above our own. We are commissioned to love our neighbor as we love ourselves and the world will  know we are connected to God by the manner in which we express and experience the same gift of love. The love of God is sacrificial, selfless and sacred.  As Christians we live and love like Christ .  We count it a privilege and a honor to be used by God to bring about His purposes…for His glory. We sow into and sometimes steward God’s plan and purpose because that is the call and what we’ve been chosen to do.  Can U be used by God to help change the course and cause of one’s experience and expression of life and love?  For the time that is yours can you speak life, build them up and help prepare them like their growth and development was dependent on it? If so, it is no wonder why God called and choose you to be His example and expression of love.  Never let fear of the unknown, frustration with the process and the lack of immediate gratification or reward dissuade,  discourage or determine what you Can do for God.  God is counting on you and I.  In the power of His might you and I can do all things.  Can you live and love for His purpose…being an extension, expression and experience of the God kind of love? For God so loved the world that He gave His Son Jesus and gives you and I the opportunity to become one with His purpose.  May we major in what through Him (His Spirit) WE CAN DO~AntTBri
