Shall We Pray

Back in the day, old time church we prayed until things changed…we did not let up or ease up when it looked better…we prayed until it was better. Somewhere along the way we lost the art of tarrying. We bought into the whole name it and cliam it phenomenon. I get it human effort doesn’t move God…His Word does. We should pray the Word (say it/claim it) and expect that particular declaration to manifest as our reality. That’s biblically sound and supported…not my argument. I’m speaking more to the persistence of prayer, the perseverance of prayer and the power of prayer to bring about the God plan, purpose and promise for life and love which often occurs within the process of time. Are we still praying or have we slacked off or stopped because we prayed or pettioned God about that before? Do we really believe or buy into healing, deliverance or salvation through regurgitating scripture? Or does the buy in occur…the actual investment happens when our mind and soul keeps hearing what the Word says about it. Have we said it enough to believe it, expect it and experience it? Do we even know what answered prayer is…a feeling or manifestation? An assertion or actualization? When exactly does the believer stop praying for life and love the way God purposes we experience and express it? We probably need to be praying purposely, persistently and passionately until it actually manifest.

This instant ideology has watered down…weakened and warped our understanding of relentless prayer. We seem to be preoccupied with looking the part of faith juxtaposed to living the life of faith. I said it…declared it and it is so…BAM. What we say and do doesn’t bring about the God result. Declaring who God is, what He can and will do affirms our faith in Him. He does not tire of our unrelenting declarations…He is moved by them. Maybe we should keep speaking His Word back to Him. Maybe the saying benefits our life and love with Him…it transforms our thinking and expectation in process. I’m merely suggesting we might want to stick with it…keep speaking the WORD into existence. Yes It is so in the spirit realm when we initially speak it. Our saying it again doesn’t make it anymore valid. However, we work inconjunction with the Holy Spirit to bring about the God plan on earth. “Thy kingdom come, the will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. We pray forth KINGDOM purposes until it becomes earths reality hence manifestation, fruition, and answered prayer. Persistent prayer changes things. God responds to faith in His Word. Faith without works is dead…the work very well could be continual agreement and assertion of God’s Word.

There are no counterfeit, knockoff, or look like the blessing, healing or deliverance in heaven so why are we settling for instant fixes on earth. Are we that superficial needing only to look the part of faith. Who are we trying to impress? Persons like ourselves needing the work of the Holy Spirit to bring about the complete finished work of Jesus Christ in our life and love. If ever there was a time for the church to pray the Word it is NOW!!! It’s time to partner with the Holy Spirit and speak forth KINGDOM purposes until those purposes become our reality. Looks are deceiving that’s why the focus should never be on how life and love looks. Many of us have stopped praying, interceeding and believing for the God plan, purpose and promise because it looks like we got it or we’re never going to get it. Wake Up…life and love is not confined or contained in our senses. We still need to pray in fervency lest we fail to receive the blessing because we didn’t believe. Because we believe we keep praying the Word over life and love until the WORD’S reality manifest…life and death is in the power of the tongue. Are you still saying what God designed, desires and designates for life and love? Is this the persistency many lack even though they go through the motion of praying? Maybe the advantage of prayer is becoming one with God’s Word, Way and Works…actually experiencing and expressing the joy of answered prayer. Keep praying until life and love manifest the WORD’S reality. It may look good but we need it to Be good…and God said and it was. God will get the glory from our life and love when we Be what we were called forth to be…His vessels and workmanship…Speak salvation, deliverance, and freedom from the bondage of sin and death until life and love manifest the abundance of God’s love towards us~AntTBri
