In His Likeness w/ AntTBri

The writer in me hasn’t exhausted her pen. The woman in me hasn’t expired in the wait. The worshiper I am is expectant of His glory, greatness, goodness and grace. Trusting God to visit life and love with His comfort and care. Although we’re walking through the shadow of death we fear no evil because God is with us. What blessed assurance to know that God will continue to take care of us…that He will ALWAYS provide what and who we need for life and love.

It is often said “the darkest part of night is just before the dawning of a new day”. May it dawn on us that we are never alone…that Jesus wept and is acquainted with all grief…that He intercedes on our behalf. He knows the way we take (Job 23:10). It’s my prayer you’re taking the E way. The expectant way. That you’re energized by the Word and endeavoring to remain in faith during this pandemic, political climate, protests and process.

This is a strange season. A season of death, darkness and detachment. Life and love is shifting, everything is being shaken and sifted. Many of us may feel like Job, one loss after the other…back to back situations, struggles and stays to negotiate. It doesn’t seem like life or love will see the breaking of day. It is during these times the peace of God guards our hearts and minds in (through) Christ Jesus. That’s the believing E (expectant) way.

That’s my prayer when I’m up pacing the floor throughout the night. I’m reminding God of His Word (Jer.29:11), asking Him to heal and console the brokeness, that His Spirit bares the weight of the burden and that He continues to strengthened, support and stand up for us as we go through the fire, flood and the final stretch before we emerge from it all facing the Son. God dwells in thick darkness…so just like the prophet kept sending the messenger to check for rain…we must remain in faith…keep living and loving expecting to experience and express God’s heart toward us. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and continue to trust that the purposes of God will prevail. Expect that! Endure for that!

May our eyes and ears be open to what God is saying and doing in this season. May we live, love and learn something wonderfully new about God, ourselves and others as we navigate the current torrents. Engage God. Evolve. May our hearts be united before Him,no longer fragmented and pulled in so many directions (Psalms 86:11). He knows the way we take…and is perfecting those things concerning us. There is purpose in this…it’s in accordance to what God wills. God give us the mind, heart and will to accept it as such. Open the eyes of our understanding and give us what to write, how to wait and a heart that continues to worship you through it all. Thanking God season’s do change because this season we shall see no more…determined to keep the right heart posture and perspective in this season. He knows the way we take…energized, expectant and endeavoring to live and love in faith. In faith is the E way to what’s up and coming~AntTBri
