In His Likeness w/ AntTBri

Ever notice how our truth directly opposes God’s truth about himself, ourselves, and others? Maybe that’s the work of salvation…correctly appropriating God’s truth to our living and loving… (the actualities of being/doing in His likeness) although it’s contrary to our natural instincts, inclinations, and interest.

 How and what we feel will ALWAYS oppose God’s truth as it is revealed through His word.  We are never going to want to, agree, or do it in and of ourselves.  We have to allow the complete finished work of the Holy Spirit its perfect work in and through us especially when we don’t want to and we disagree with God’s way.

Living and loving “feelings” based is self defeating, dangerous, and deadly for the believer.  It keeps our motives, mannerisms, and mobility in direct opposition to the plan, purpose, and power of God to operate freely in our lives.  Don’t forget we work/live in conjunction with Him.  We are willing participants…acknowledging, accepting, and adapting to God’s truth whether we agree or not. When we Live and love according to the Word of God without imposing our personal exceptions, excuses, or explanations; we image His likeness correctly~AntTBri
