Therapeutic Promise

What soothes the anguished heart, calms the turbulent soul, causes barren fields to yield increase, dry lands to produce abundance?  What sustains your ability to stay, stand, and submit to all God allows when it seems opposite your best interest? How do you refrain from formulating a negative opinion or response to what is that does not reflect God’s heart toward you as He privy’s you see?  What keeps you coming, showing up, hopeful, expectant when the unexpected transpires? Is it something, or someone or a collaboration of the two intertwined?  Could it be a Rhema Word spoken by God that is specific to you, your personal life directing?  Or is it reliance upon the work of the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into the truth of the therapeutic promise you heard when God spoke to you?

The promises of God are sure, definite, and unchanging; they do not expire they are yes and amen. If God said it…God will bring it to past…He cannot and does not lie.  Therapeutic promise sustains your hope in God despite what you may feel and think. It counsels you during uncertainty, reassure’s you when you want to give up but most importantly therapeutic promise secures the relationship you have with the true and living God.  You learn to trust God when you cannot trace Him, to depend upon and follow His leading when all you have is the word He spoke. When you have a specific Word it becomes the standard of your expectation, it qualifies every experience, and cancels out what you see, feel, and think you know about how things should be.  What God spoke is so compelling, constraining, and convincing that you will wait, walk through and out any and everything because you know in the end your reality will reflect God’s heart toward you.  Therapeutic promise is to trust life and love on God’s terms in His timing.

If you’ve ever heard or read God’s promises, then applied them to your circumstance, situation you fully understand faiths application.  You’re able to experience the therapeutic qualities of a Promise given in one season and then granted in due season.  EVERYTHING else falls into the category of in between blessings and learning the benefits of waiting on God.   This is possible when you have a specific Word; God spoke and gave concerning you.  Sometimes you’re the only one who knows what He’s said, the only one privy to coming events, purpose and reasoning behind what’s currently transpiring.  You look foolish to others, your path seems mock able, and your end unsure, but it is sure to you…because you know and trust GODS heart toward you.    It’s during this waiting time that God holds you in the hollow of his hand, hiding you in the shadows of his love, saying “trust me, I won’t fail or let you down, asking can I pick/decide/gift you with my choice gifting, give you your inheritance as I promised, will you pass this test of time, prove your sincerity, commitment to my Word being fulfilled, coming into fruition for your life specificallyy?”  Therapeutic Promise weighs the heart, produces character, and burns off the dross so you’ll be able to maintain in the fruit of the land; gaining new levels of understanding, conviction, and faith for life’s and love’s journey.

Hold on to what you see future(istically); hear echoing in your ear (continuously), the Holy Spirit will keep speaking and confirming therapeutic promise time and time again until it is manifested.  He will meet you while you’re praying, keep your mind in perfect peace, and cultivate your heart to feel and respond as if the manifested promise is what God said it would be in the present DESPITE the here and now. It will cushion, comfort, and console your every concern and eradicate the conflict between your flesh and spirit.  Therapeutic promise will propel you to seek God’s face earnestly, like Timothy you will have to and learn to intentionally war for the prophecy (promise) spoken over your life, stirring up the gift God gave you so you can experience, encounter, and engage in fulfillment Whole heart without the residual effects of fear, frustration, and failure.  Therapeutic promise is directly connected to destiny; it’s definitely preparatory for life and love experienced more abundantly. God’s promises and purposes prevail…they have not and will not expire. Thank You Jesus for the knowing attained from therapeutic promise~AntTBri

One response to “Therapeutic Promise”

  1. This was just in time and well given. I thank the Lord for talking to me through you. Because in my current transition I was looking for answers and Truth. And with this on time message I have received answers, and what I was once confused about I now clearly understand. My heart is open to all advice, so that as it states in Proverbs my knowledge can increase. You should continue to encourage!
