It is contrary to common practice but with God it is possible…it happens…and it will happen for us.  The very people God used to chastise, correct, constrain, and hold Judah captive due to King Ahaz’s disobedience ended up being the same people used to minister restoration, healing, and  voyage back to Jericho (see 2 Chronicles 28:14-15). There is a divine release breaking forth in the lives and loves of God people.

 There are times in life and love when God allows us to suffer the consequences of our choice opposite His leading and direction; when we are held captive to situations, sickness, and things that cause us to sorrow for a period of time.  BUT GOD remembers His covenant and He causes a divine release.  Can you imagine being weary, wounded, and weak at the hand of what God allowed to hold you captive and then your captors begin to prepare you for your release?  How unnerving would that be?  I mean really could you see them differently…as preparation for your release?  What type of head space would you need to tap into to allow them to feed, clothe, and then apply healing balm to those areas hurt so you can go back or get back home?  Does God use captors to help get captives back to their place of refreshing?

I don’t know how long you’ve been held captive to situations, sickness, or sorrow but I do know that God is GOD of our situations, sicknesses, and sorrows.  Just as He sets the time of our going in there is a set time for our coming out of it.  This is the set time of RELEASE! Expect life and love to begin to shift, change, and accommodate the new thing God is doing in life and love.  God is using your captors to get you ready for the promise of release…you are on your way home.  Yes after all of it you are going to experience and express life and love under the palm trees …All praise belongs to our God for He remembers and releases us into His destined there…meet you there~AntTBri
